Specifications

The Aquaox EC is an advanced Electrochemical Activation (ECA) system that produces two on-site solutions from water, salt, and electricity:

  • HOCl (anolyte): a powerful disinfectant for pathogen and biofilm control
  • Alkaline water (catholyte): an alkaline cleaner that acts as a degreaser/detergent for organic contamination removal

Designed for facilities requiring up to 200 liters per hour of consistent electrolyzed water production, the EC system combines industrial-grade components, advanced automated process control, and remote monitoring capabilities to significantly reduce chemical consumption, enhance operational safety, and support sustainability objectives.

In addition to its standard configurations, the EC system can be engineered and built to customer-specific requirements, allowing adaptation to site conditions, capacity needs, integration with existing processes, and regulatory or operational constraints.

  • Production capacity: up to 200 L/hour
  • Solution types: HOCl (disinfectant) + Alkaline water (cleaning solution)
  • Power requirements: 220–240 V or 400 V, 50/60 Hz, 3.0–6.0 kW (max.)
  • Water requirements: municipal water or RO connection, min. 2 bar pressure
  • Salt consumption: approx. 3–5 g/L of produced solution
  • Dimensions (W×D×H): 800 × 850 × 1850 mm
  • Weight: 130 kg
  • Control system: advanced PLC + HMI touchscreen
  • Connectivity: Ethernet for remote monitoring/diagnostics
  • Compliance: CE compliant build

Key Features

  • Dual-solution output: disinfect (HOCl) and clean (alkaline) from one system
  • Plug & Play installation: requires only power, water, and Ethernet connections
  • Self-calibration & adaptive control: automatically optimizes production based on incoming water characteristics
  • Advanced PLC control loop: continuous monitoring of flow, conductivity, temperature, and solution parameters
  • Remote monitoring & diagnostics: off-site monitoring, troubleshooting, and support capability
  • Production logging: detailed operational logs exportable for QA, compliance, and performance analysis
  • Industrial design: corrosion-resistant wetted parts for both acidic and alkaline solutions; modular maintenance access

Benefits

  • Reduced chemical expenditure: on-site generation can reduce cleaning/disinfection chemical costs by up to 70%
  • ROI: typical return on investment in 24–36 months (site dependent)
  • Lower storage & compliance burden: reduced need for bulk chemical storage areas and related safety infrastructure
  • Improved workplace safety: minimizes staff exposure to concentrated chemicals
  • Consistent output quality: stable production controlled via sensors and PLC feedback
